Support from Parents
All parents and guardians of current students become members of Glenwood Academy’s PTO. Parents and guardians are encouraged to participate in, and support, PTO sponsored events throughout the year. PTO was organized to support educational objectives. This support includes carrying out a fundraiser to enhance school life, supporting school functions, and encouraging unity, cooperation, and understanding among school faculty, staff, and parents. Tuition alone covers the basic costs of educating our students. Fundraising provides the financial means to enrich our programs, while ensuring that tuition remains affordable for the widest range of families possible.
All independent schools rely on voluntary support to thrive. At Glenwood Academy, our parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends work to ensure our well-being through their participation in and support of special events, regular programs and classroom activities. Our volunteers are always chairing or assisting with fundraising events, service hot lunches, volunteering in the classroom, and more! To help sustain the School’s tradition of excellence, we ask parents to consider making us one of their top philanthropic causes while their children are enrolled.
