Orton-Gillingham Approach

Orton-Gillingham is a method of reading instruction, which when delivered appropriately can prevent or effectively address and limit the severity of reading and writing problems for students with dyslexia. Our teachers are trained in strategies primarily based on the Structured Literacy approach to reading instruction, of which Orton-Gillingham is an example. Utilizing Orton-Gillingham “PLUS”, our staff incorporates traditional Orton methodology, Phonological Awareness and Reading Fluency training.
