Small Class Sizes

Glenwood Academy offers class sizes of no more than 8 students. It’s easy to see why smaller class sizes have multiple benefits for students. Classes of this size result in more individual attention a teacher can give to each student. This leads to better communication between the teacher and students, as well as increased participation from students. Having fewer students in a class means each student can receive more in-depth feedback from the teacher. They also tend to have more opportunities for hands-on learning that they might not otherwise have in a larger class. Lastly, with a smaller number of students to teach, the teacher can customize the coursework to fit the needs of the students. If a group of students has already mastered a topic, they can move on while the teacher gives more instruction to those students who need more practice.
